Since it was built in 1921, 900 Hennepin Avenue has served as home to a wide variety of tenants, including a dance studio, a place to receive vocal lessons (the Andrews Sisters even took classes here) and a hospitality center for veterans of World War II. Most recently, it was the home of Solera, an upscale restaurant and event center. Hennepin Theatre Trust purchased the building in 2016 and embarked on an ambitious renovation project to restore its historical features and update the space to accommodate a wide range of events.
